Watermark Part II Osprey

So I made a new watermark, I wasn't totally happy with my first one. I'm really just testing them out and seeing which one I like the best.

This picture below can be taken by anyone, who visits Island Beach State Park in New Jersey. It is an absolutely beautiful sight to see, the nest is right by the hiking trail and is always filled with several Osprey, typically eating or on look out. .

Watermark

I just made a watermark for my future tattoo ideas, I figured if I am going to be posting pictures I have taken myself, why not watermark them since I took them and I am considering having them put on my body. Also I have been meaning to make a better and more improved watermark for like, I guess two years now?

Stargazer Lilly.

Pictures that I took when I was a lot younger, as you can see the date says it is from 1998. I'd like this little brown pelican from Florida to be on an anklet, or used as a silhouette, it's small, simple, easy, also so adorable!

The palm trees is for distance assistance, and height as well as another possible silhouette design. I just scanned these in, I have the originals but for electronic documentation it works nicely.

Figurines and turning them into tattoos

These are a few items that I've had for a few years.

This single dolphin, I've had this little figurine for years (pretty sure I got it in Florida)  and I have always like it, so I have considered it as a tattoo for a foot, ankle or leg piece. I need to take a picture of it, the scan didn't do justice for it.

This bracelet I got a few years ago during Musikfest in a little shop. I wear it a lot in the summer and it would be a great anklet tattoo, then I would have it on all of the time!

St. Croix, what more can I say. It is a plate piece, I keep it in the bathroom and view it every day and escape to that spot. The palm tree is perfect and the simple boat and ocean theme works really well and could be easily turned into a tattoo.

Considering a Redo Tattoo?

I'm considering having this tattoo redone, with more color in the clouds to look more heavenly because that's what I wanted originally and it isn't really visible, and I have been told it looks smudged. Not cool.
Some bright whites and yellows and to make the cloud larger, the bird could always be changed too, as long as the signature can be left in tact I am down for a change. I do have another signature copied, so even if it has to be covered up, I have a new one to replace the old!

I also considered a scroll style with "grandma" written in it just above the clouds, but I think it would upset me too much as a memorial style tattoo, this is a shared tattoo for me with my middle name and my grandma.

Realistically, a tree swallow might be able to be incorporated into this design, and an example of the clouds and light.

Adding to an already existing tattoo

My tattoo left shoulder, now just about 8 years old.  I was 18 when I got it, and I am now 27.

I got this for a few reasons...

1. My middle name is Lynette, named after my mother's mother, Lynette. My grandmother's name was Lynette thus, I was named after her.

2. My grandmother passed away in 2008 just before my 18th birthday, she believed in reincarnation so as far as I am concerned she is a free spirit and watches over me, so the bird is symbolic of her freedom.

3. My grandmother's signature is below the bird, (swallow, dove) not really entirely sure, at the time I just wanted a bird but it is similar to a swallow in design.

I always loved my grandmother's signature, and she had the prettiest hand writing and she taught me the alphabet, and numbers growing up. I remember 5 specifically.
"the man went around the corner, and his hat blew off!"

4. The rose I added in the beak last minute because it was pretty and I didn't really think about it, I just felt like it belonged there. In retrospect, I would have added in her favorite flower instead.

I would like to add a Lilly of the valley in memory of my grandmother, as this was one of her favorite flowers.
